3000 Students Withdraw from IELTS Test in Iran

Because of problems exist between Iranian agent of IELTS and IELTS center in United Kingdom, 3000 students withdrew from taking this exam.

Ebrahim Khodaei, the statistical and technical deputy of the ‎Sazman Sanjesh Amoozesh Keshvar, confirmed this problem and said: “Currently we have 3 authorized IELTS agents in Iran including Islamic Azad University, IELTS Tehran and Asre-Dino Danesh Institute. Sazman Sanjesh Amoozesh Keshvar helps these agents to operate the needed processes. Recently Asre-Dino Danesh Institute had a conflict with IELTS center in United Kingdom and they failed to hold the exam.”

“Iran Sanjesh Organization decided to help these students. Around 3,000 of them asked for refund and the other took exam via another agents. Asre-Dino Danesh Institute is trying hard to resolve its problem with IELTS center. Currently they are scheduling to hold one IELTS test in Shahrivar month.” Ebrahim Khodaei added.

IELTS is the International English Language Testing System. It is a test designed to assess the language ability of people who need to study, train or work where English is the language of communication.
