Honorary President of Real Madrid FC, Alfredo Di Stéfano, turns 86 today.

Alfredo Di Stefano was born on July 4, 1926 in the neighborhood of Barracks, locates in Buenos Aires. He debuted for River Plate in 1945. He was used to play for that club until 1949 and set a record of 79 goals in 95 appearances. In 1949 he left River Plate to Millonarios and remained there for four seasons. During this period of time he scored 120 goals for his side in 131 appearances.

Alfredo Di Stefano joined Real Madrid in 1953 and debuted on September 23, 1953 against Nancy, which would be the first of the 510 games played with Real Madrid, and scored 418 goals. During his tenure with the whites, he won five European Cups, eight League, one Intercontinental Cup, a Cup of Spain, two Latin Cups, a Small World Cup and Golden Ball, among many other titles.
