Ali Fathollahzadeh: We are Negotiating with Al Nasr over Transferring Mojtaba Jabbari

UAE Pro-League runners-up Al Nasr are trying to sign Mojtaba Jabbari

UAE Pro-League runners-up Al Nasr are trying to sign Mojtaba Jabbari. Sources report the club is ready to pay $1.7 million to finalize the deal.

Ali Fathollahzadeh, the chairman, says Esteghlal has received a formal letter from the Emirates side over transferring Mojtaba Jabbari. “If Ghalenoei (the head coach of Esteghlal) accepts this transfer, then we have certain conditions to approve this deal. We only allow Jabbari to leave Esteghlal in mid season window. I think Al Nasr needs him in that frame too. However we have to negotiate on these conditions more.” Ali Fathollahzadeh added.

“If this offer was made by a Qatari club, we would definitely decline it. Because Qatar’s league is not as perfect as UAE league. We are also concerned about Andranik Teymourian situation in Stars league of Qatar. Iranian coaches constantly monitor UAE league and it is somehow approved by Iran’s football community.” Ali Fathollahzadeh said.

Mojtaba Jabbari (29) started his career in Esteghlal youth team. From 2002 to 2005 he played 55 matches for F.C. Aboomoslem scoring 7 goals. He rejoined Esteghlal in 2005. As of now he had 119 appearances for Esteghlal and scored 26 goals.
