Leaked screenshots from a Samsung Galaxy S4 phone are beginning to show up all over the web, confirming that the next generation Android smartphone will be packing the much talked about eye-tracking capabilities it also suggest serious hardware upgrades can be confirmed.
The leaked Samsung Galaxy S4 screenshots come from a trustworthy source via TechCrunch and one of the most fascinating features is called “Smart Scroll.” After turning the smart scroll on, the phone’s sensors and front camera will be able to track user’s eye movement and will automatically scroll trough websites.
Smart scroll is the newest feature in Samsung’s TouchWiz UI which is used to enhance the already powerful Android engine. According to reports the Samsung Galaxy S4 to will be powered by TouchWiz and Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, we believe Samsung will begin pushing its custom user interface.
The leaked screenshots show a 1.8Ghz quad-core processor which will be powering the Samsung Galaxy S4. The pictures also show suggest that the Galaxy S4 will be packing a five-inch 1920 x 1080 resolution screen. If you do the math it’s about 440 pixels per inch, a few hundred more than the iPhone 5’s retina display.
The Galaxy S4 will also support 4G LTE frequencies, the latest Bluetooth, GPS, NFC, DLNA and WIFI, and just by watching the teaser videos we can tell Samsung is putting some serious muscle behind the S4’s marketing. According to reports March 14th will be the official debut date for the Samsung Galaxy S4.
