Britain : Two Soldiers Who killed in Afghanistan Were British

The British government said that two soldiers were killed by a soldier from the Afghan army in southern Afghanistan on Monday , were British .

Philip Hammond , Defense Secretary , said : “The person who opened fire at the gate of entry to the British headquarters in Lashkar Gah seems to be a member of the Afghan National Army . The attacker killed after the troops returned fire . ”

Attacks by members of the Afghan army has been escalated in recent times with increased tension between the Afghan government and its supporters for a series of external events , including the burning copies of the Quran at the base of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization addition to the massacre which 17 villagers were killed by U.S. troops .
