Clinton Calls on Iran to Take Advantage of The Istanbul Meeting

U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton called on Iran on Thursday to take advantage of “opportunity” available to them during the Istanbul meeting with the major countries on Saturday to provide the answer has to “credibility” to allay international concerns over its nuclear program.

Clinton said in a press statement two days before the Istanbul meeting between Tehran and six world powers that these talks would be “An opportunity for Iran to provide a credible answer to respond to the international community’s concern” about the Iranian nuclear dispute. She said “Iranians must prove their seriousness when they come to the negotiating table.”

It is scheduled to meet with Tehran, the Group of Five plus one in Istanbul on Saturday to discuss “new initiatives” promised by Iran on its nuclear activities after 15 months from the cessation of the talks.
