Iranians are always looking for the latest technologies and they are big fans of gadgets. Despite United States sanctions and embargo against Iran over its nuclear programs, Google Nexus 7 is now available in Iran.
According to the mentioned sanctions, Google is not allowed to choose an official distributor for its products in Iran so third parties are the main suppliers of Google Nexus 7 tablet in this country. Most devices come without long term guarantee so it is somehow a big risk for customers. It was reported that some of these tablets have problems in their screens and Google offered buyers free replacement while Iranians won’t be able to take advantage of this program.
The price tag of 8GB model is 739,000 Tomans (~$352) in DigiKala while the same model is priced only 660,000 Tomans (~$315) in TabletShop.ir online store.
