Google Play Store’s Year End Sale

Google Play Store's Year End Sale

Amazon isn’t the only marketplace with an end-of-the-year digital sale going on. The Play Store has discounts on the same digital content.

You’re currently able to rent any movie on the Play Store for $0.99, if you want to own major blockbuster films there’s several under $10 such as The Legend of Tarzan, Deadpool, X-Men Apocalypse, and The Purge: Election Year. Now by “under $10” you’re actually looking at just below $10 at $9.99 for the most part but there are also some films that are lower.

Google also has TV shows “at $7.99” but it should be noted it’s actually starting at $7.99 with recent full seasons of popular shows being available at up to $24.99 for say Arrow and NCIS. Shows in the middle at $11.99 and $19.99 include Mr. Robot, The Magicians, and Preacher. Apply the same discount approach for albums which are available starting at $6.99.

There is a discount of up to 85-percent on books and a few graphic novels, but if you look in the comics section there are discounts of up to 65-percent for DC graphic novels dropping a lot of titles to $5.99, 50-percent off Image titles dropping some to $3.99, and a Star Wars graphic novel sale of up to 75-percent with titles being around $4.99. There’s the same general Marvel Comics sale as Amazon’s Digital Day.

Finally there’s a 4-months of free Google Play Music Unlimited which will then roll over to $9.99 a month.
