Iran Car Export Increased

Iran car exports in the first three months of new Persian year (started on 21 March) increased by 140% and reached to 12,354 vehicles.

Base on the statistics released by Iran Custom, total value of car exports increased by 172% and reached to $68 million in the spring of 1391. The average price of each car exported from Iran was $5540 which shows a growth of 11.1% in compare to the same number in the previous year.

Iraq, Afghanistan and Ukraine are the main destinations of Iran made cars. However Iraq is the prime customer of these cards because its share in this list is 98%. Belarus, the other buyer of Iranian cars, didn’t order notable number of cars during this time.

Its noteworthy that total car production of Iranian car manufacturers decreased by 36.4% and reached to 241,055 vehicles.
