Iranian Engineers Kidnapped in Syria Released

Iranian Energy Ministry announced on Friday , Those 7 Iranian engineers who had been kidnapped in Syria in December last year have been released .

Many people say they are not “Engineers” , They believe those are members of Qods force of IRGC . But Iranian authorities denied this several times and said they were engineers working in a powerhouse in Homas city .

Unidentified gunmen abducted five of them on December 20 and two others on December 21 in the restive Syrian city of Homs.

Official claimed that the engineers have been taken out of Syria and the will soon be brought to the country through Turkey or Iraq.

The official said all the engineers are in complete health.

Iranians have become the target of abduction by unknown gunmen in Syria over the past months.
