Do you remember when films came to Apple’s iTunes platform? Ten years ago, Apple founder Steve Jobs announced that users would able to purchase and view films on iTunes. Early on the platform had 75 movies—all from Disney studios. Ten years later that library of films (and television shows) has exploded to 85,000.
To celebrate this ten year anniversary, iTunes has a promotion of ten movies for $9.99—or to sound better 10 for 10. You can pick up blockbusters and high grossers in bundles from major studios. Not only that, but there are a good amount of recent films. The bundles are studio-specific coming from Warner Bros, Paramount, Sony, and Universal.
This isn’t one of those magical week-long anniversary deals, so get your films while you can. If you don’t have an iOS-based device, don’t worry, you can use the desktop version of iTunes and purchase the anniversary bundles.
