Apple fans have waited a very long time for the iPhone 5 jailbreak and the current jailbreak is only available for older devices running on the A4 processor. It is believed that the iOS hackers or security experts already have a tethered jailbreak running on iOS 6.0.1 and were just waiting for the final beta of iOS 6.1 which came out today.
The final beta of iOS 6.1 was released today, and security experts already hacked into the software and jailbroken it. The latest version of Redsn0w can jailbreak iOS 6.1 running on A4 processors. However the jailbreak is a tethered jailbreak, which means that in the case you need to restart your device it must be connected to a computer running Redsn0w or you will loose the jailbreak.
We can only speculate about the actual jailbreak date, but from what we see in the picture below we can expect a full or untethered jailbreak for the iPhone 5 and other A6 idevices this Sunday. We recommend waiting for the full jailbreak since it appears to be only days away.
