Justin Kan To Bring Justin.tv Back Via Snapchat

Twitch co-founder Justin Kan is relaunching the Justin.tv, responsible for the birth and explosion of Twitch and live-streaming overall—only it won’t be as a live streaming service, it will go back to its roots as in lifecasting as a channel on Snapchat.

When Justin.tv started in 2007, it was focused around Justin Kan going about his day and filming his experiences. Viewers should expect much of the same with the relaunch with of the new Snapchat Stories-based Justin.tv.

Other than that, Kan said he has no set format for the new channel. Viewers will get a look at his life as he travels and other businesses and startups he has in the mix. Who knows, viewers might actually get a front row seat to the next big thing.

Speaking of “the next big thing,” Justin Kan feels that Snapchat could actually join the social media pantheon which is headed up by Facebook and Twitter. Currently the relaunch is still in the planning stages and Kan is looking for a partner to help him get it off the ground.
