Life changing tips to improve Galaxy S3 battery life

The Samsung Galaxy S3 is one of the most popular phones in the market. The phone debuted in the summer of 2012, and it has been one of the top Android devices. One of the biggest drawbacks of the S3 is the battery life and since everybody likes to get the most out of their phones we compiled a couple of tips to improve the battery life of your device.

One of the easiest ways to save battery life is by turning down the brightness level of the phone and it does not hurt to use the power saving feature included in the device.

Checking your email manually instead of having it sync from the server can save you a great deal of power. Turn off sync and then check mail every 10, 15, 25 minutes or so. You will save more power the longer you wait to check for emails.

Turn off features you are not using, GPS, Hotspot and Bluetooth consume a lot of power and can drain your battery in no time.

Never let your battery drain down to the point where the phone powers off, try charging your phone at least once a day.

Remove applications you don’t use and keeping the ones you do use up to date can save battery power as well.
Turn the phone if you are in an area with limited or no cellular service, the phone will keep trying to make a connection and will drain the battery fast, this tip is not as practical but if you are in a tight situation where you won’t be able to charge your phone for a while, then shutting your phone off for a few minutes can actually help.
