Malaysian Petronas Oil Company to Stop Iran Oil Imports

Malaysian Petronas oil company announce it will halt Iran oil imports by April due to the imposed sanctions on Iran from United States .

“We are complying and aim to cut all our imports from Iran by April ,” said a senior Petronas official with direct knowledge of the issue . “We are looking at alternative sources .”

Petronas is importing crude oil from Iran under two contracts , One of them will be expired soon and the company will not renew it .

PETRONAS , short for Petroliam Nasional Berhad , is a Malaysian oil and gas company that was founded on August 17, 1974.  Wholly owned by the Government of Malaysia . The company has around 39,236 employees .
