The Lumia 930—the main smartphone in the Lumia line—was launch last summer while the lower cost Lumia 830 was announced in September. The Lumia 930 and 830 will be available in classy black or white with gold serving as trim. The gold 830 hits shelves in the Asia Pacific, Chinese, European, and India markets—along with a few others—next month.
The gold and black 930 hits later this week with white and gold coming sometime in January. According to Microsoft’s Lumia site, the prices for the two models will vary by region.
Released in June, the Lumia 930 ran on Windows Phone 8.1, came with 32GB storage and 2GB RAM. As far as power goes, the phone was powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 with graphics being handled by the Qualcomm Adreno 330. The Lumia 930 featured 2.2 GHz quad core Qualcomm Krait 400. Since the new gold versions are purely cosmetic, don’t expect any changes or improvements to the hardware outside of known issues possibly being worked out by now.
