Mohsen Rezaei said he is optimistic about the next round of negotiations between Iran and 5+1 group over Iran’s controversial nuclear program. Some countries believe Iran is going to produce nuclear bomb while Iran denies this claim.
“Currently we have good condition on our country’s diplomacy. We are stepping forward on the subject of nuclear negotiations and we have reached a lot of achievements in this way.” The secretary of the Expediency Discernment Council of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Mohsen Rezaei, said during a conference held in Shahid Beheshti University in Tehran.
“Western countries are delighted to convince Iran to continue the negotiations and this is a big success for Iran.” Rezaei added. He denied the claims over failure in the previous negations which held in Baghdad by saying:” I think this analysis is not correct and we have reached to our goals. When two sides accepted to continue the negotiations shows good signals.” By emphasizing the need for Iran to take an active diplomatic posture, Rezaei has indicated that both sides should seize the opportunity provided by the meeting to be held in Moscow for help.
Rezaei was the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps Chief Commander for 16 years.
