Omid Nazari to Join Iran’s National Team in Turkey’s Camp

Omid Nazari, playing for Ängelholms FF in Superettan as a centre midfielder, has been invited to Iran’s camp which will be held in Turkey before starting the matches of Asia qualifier for 2014 World Cup.

Like his brother Nazari was born in Sweden, his parents are from Iran and the Philippines. He is therefore eligible to play for the Sweden national football team, the Iran national football team or the Philippines national football team. In May 14th, 2012 the Iranian side’s boss Carlos Queiroz confirmed that Omid will join Team Melli in Turkey’s camp before the friendly match against Albania.

Omid born April 29, 1991 in Malmö. Recently Carlos Queiroz explored most of the European leagues in order to find the new and professional Iranian football player who have not yet invited to team. Reza Ghoochannejhad is the other player that Mr Queiroz invited him for the upcoming camp in Turkey.

Omid Nazari joined Ängelholms FF in Sweden’s second league “Superettan” from Malmö FF in 2011 and after a quiet first year played an excellent 2012 season so far. He appeared in all six matches this season and meanwhile didn’t only earn a fixed place in the team, but developed into one of the key players of the currently fifth place team.


He was used to be the editor of MNG online magazine and he could bring a lot of achievements for that particular site . Currently he is studying civil engineering in the main university of Baku the capital of Azerbaijan . He born on 1992 in Tehran , Iran but moved to Azerbaijan when he was thirteen .
