Police Arrested Iranian Student Abusing Facebook Accounts

Iraj Mohammad Khani, the chief of Iran Cyber Police in Gilan province, announced the custody of a student who abused Facebook accounts.

“Around one month ago a woman filed a complaint in Police station against someone who was abusing her pictures and identifications in Internet especially through Facebook accounts. After a lot of researches and investigations, detectors arrested the student who was committing the crime.” Mohammad Khani said.

“The 22 years old student has made several Facebook accounts by using stolen images. He started friendly relationships with other users. For continuing the flirting with other male users, he was asking for cell phone vouchers and prepaid charges.” Iraj Mohammad Khani added.

“Until now he has scammed more than 200 online users and earned about $220 using this method.”
