Earlier today Samsung revealed the Galaxy J2 and J Max smartphones. The two phones are currently available in India only and will use the Android Marshmallow OS for the J2 and Android Lollipop for the J Max.
As for the other specifics of the phones, the J2 has a 5-inch AMOLED display, an 8-megapixel rear camera paired with a 5-megapixel front camera, and come with 1.5GB of RAM and 8GB of storage. In the power area it makes use of a Spreadtrum SC8830 quadcore 1.5GHz processor. The J2 packs a 2,600 mAh battery and will be available at $145.
The J Max is larger with a 7-inch WXGA display and 4,000 mAh battery. It has the same processor, the same rear camera, a 2-megapixel front camera, and a $199 price tag. The J2 isn’t particularly impressive, but J Max makes it look like a prize by comparison.
Again the two phones are only available in India at the moment.
