Samsung will soon unleash their curved 4K SUHD TVs onto store shelves. The TVs feature a ton of innovative features that aim to get customers the best viewing experience. Unfortunately these sets aren’t the most readily affordable thing on the market with the most expensive set listed being $6,000 for the 65” JS9500 Series—after a savings of $2,000.
The reason for these prices: quality. Samsung is betting on customers to really be open to paying luxury prices for what the company is offering in their SUHD sets. The visual quality has been touted as top of the line due to nano-crystal semiconductors. The sets also come with 3D, several HDMI ports, an octa-core processor, voice interaction, a built in camera, and more.
If customers don’t need curved 4K SUHD—then the non-curved sets sit around the $2,500 and $4,000 area. As a matter of fact, the prices drop when the size is decreased as well without really giving up incredible quality.
