Saudi Arabia Closed Its Embassy And Consulates in Egypt And The Ambassador Leaves Cairo

An official source said that as a result of the unexplained demonstrations and protests that took place in front of the Saudi Arabia embassy in the Arab Republic of Egypt and attempts to storm and threaten the security and safety of its employees, governments decided to recall its ambassador and the closure of its embassy in Cairo and its consulates in Alexandria and Suez.

The demonstration in front of Saudi embassy in Egypt was against all international norms and laws.

This reaction by Saudi Arabia will disrupt the process of works, including facilitating the travel of Egyptian workers and Umrah performers and visitors to the Kingdom.

Also the Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to the Arab Republic of Egypt and Permanent Representative of  Saudi Arabia to the Arab League, Ahmed bin Abdul Aziz Kattan left Cairo on his way to Saudi Arabia after being summoned for consultation.
