If you ever wanted to use Skype but not make a Microsoft network account—which is odd considering how fast it is to make one—Microsoft has you covered. You can now use Skype as guest and still have access to all the features of a full user.
It works by going to Skype and tapping “Start A Conversation”—located at the top and bottom of Skype’s main page—and come up a name. From there you will have a link that you can share with others that you want in on the conversation and it works just the same as if you were actually signed into the service.
You be able to have 25 people on a voice or video call and up to 300 in chat with the conversation being available for 24 hours. Other features such as Skype Translator, picking up the conversation later, calling landlines, and mobile will require a proper Skype account.
