Spanish Soccer Star Raúl Albiol Turns 27

Raúl Albiol, the defender of Real Madrid FC, turned 27 today and celebrated his birthday.

Many people and his fans from all over the world have congratulated his birthday in social networking platforms such as Facebook and Twitter. The Capitan of Real Madrid FC also felicitated Albiol’s birthday. “Feliz cumpleaños Albiol” (Happy Birthday Albiol), Iker Casillas posted this on his official Facebook account.

Raúl Albiol Tortajada born 4 September 1985 in Vilamarxant, Valencia. Albiol started playing football with two modest clubs in the Valencian Community, moving to local giants Valencia CF before celebrating his 10th birthday. On 25 June 2009, Albiol joined Real Madrid, for a fee thought to be in the region of €15 million, becoming the first Spanish player signed by Florentino Pérez upon his return to the presidency.

Albiol has won many cups and titles during his career including 2010 FIFA World Cup, 2008 and 2012 UEFA European Football Championship, 2004 UEFA U-19 Championship, 2012 Supercopa de España, 2010–11 and 2007–08 Copa del Rey, 2011–12 La Liga and 2003–04 UEFA Cup.
