The Outcome of Emirates Hotels Was About $6 Billion in 2011

The total number of guests who visited the UAE in the year 2011 was more than 14 million people and tourist revenues reached to 22 billion Dirhams (5.9 billion Dollars).

According to the official statistics of the National Council for Tourism and Antiquities in the UAE, the total number of guests in hotels in the country amounted to more than 14 million inmates in 2011, while the total number of nights occupied was about 44 million nights shows a growth rate of up to 15% from previous years.

The survey revealed that the occupancy rate in hotels of the UAE has reached 70% and revenues reached nearly 22 billion Dirhams. The Europeans came first for filling hotel rooms, and Asians in the second place and the citizens of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) ranked third, while the occupied citizens of North America were ranked fourth.
