If you’re been waiting for the chance to actually customize the look of your Twitter profile, you’re in luck. Last month, Twitter was rumored to be testing out new profile designs similar to what you would see on Facebook.
The bulk of content—tweets and the like—is organized in three columns underneath the banner/header. On the left users will find pictures and followers, the middle shows tweets from followers, and right column has recommendations and trending topics. The header is now similar to Facebook’s cover photo and runs across the top to the length of the page.
Going further with the cosmetic features, users will notice that popular tweets from people they follow will be shown more often. Users can also view their timelines with tweets and replies, tweets with media (photo/video) only, or tweets only.
The new profile layout—pictured above—will get to all users in the coming weeks.
