Ali Karimi, The striker and current Capitan of the Persepolis FC, received a €2.5 million offer from Emirates based club, Al Jazira, for the next season.
However it seems Ali Karimi will refuse this offer because today several of the Persepolis fans came to Ali Karimi and urged him to stay in the club and don’t leave the team.
Mohammad Reza Zadmehr, the current Persepolis manager, said: “Ali Karimi is one of the legendary players of Persepolis and we are proud to have him here. I have directly talked to Ali and he assured me that he will stay in the club for the next season because of the fans and people. Karimi is very important person for our fans and he doesn’t want to depress them.”
Ali Karimi was criticized by the fans after the one nil loss to Al Hilal in the recent match during the AFC Champions League. At that point, Karimi announced he will depart the club.
Karimi used to play for Al Ahli club in the UAE League for four years.
