Ever expanding, Amazon has recently launched a department for customers to look the specs and prices on vehicles and compare them with others. While there are definitely other sites that do the same—and have been for years—Amazon is looking to make Amazon Vehicles a hub for customers and car enthusiasts.
“Amazon Vehicles is a great resource for customers who are interested in car information or looking for a broad selection of parts and accessories—all enhanced by the ability to tap into the knowledge, opinions, and experiences of other car owners within the Amazon customer community,” automotive director Adam Goetsch said in a statement.
The three main features Amazon Vehicles is promoting is that it will be a community of enthusiasts, all for customers and enthusiasts to do thorough research into vehicles, and—as usual with any new service Amazon offers—the one-stop shop appeal of the main site. In this case, it ties Amazon Vehicles, the Amazon Automotive store, and Amazon Garage together.
While customers can’t purchase a vehicle through Amazon just yet, they can research accessories and parts they need or want for their vehicle and send off them.
