Meghdad Najafnejad, Member of Board of Directors for Iran’s Esteghlal football club, announced Farhad Majidi will come back to Esteghlal at the end of season.
Farhad Majidi transferred to Qatari Al Gharafa from Esteghlal on loan for 4 months. In that time Esteghlal’s Board of Directors condemned Farhad’s decision to move from the club but now the situation is different.
In the recent game of Al Gharafa against Iran’s Piroozi, which is the main rival of Esteghlal, Farhad showed his blue shirt to fans and kissed the logo of Esteghlal. However he received red card from referee in 74′.
Najafnejad said Esteghlal is the main home of Majidi and he can return to this club at anytime.
Majidi doesn’t have good relationship with Esteghlal’s coaches and this was one of the reason encouraged him to leave club. Majidi won the title of the World’s most Popular Footballer amongst active Players in 2010 by IFFHS.
You have to say Perspolis, NOT!!! Piroozi
