Base on the recent monthly report by Deutsche Bundesbank (German central bank) published on Monday, Germany needs about extra 200 thousand immigrants a year to compensate for the demographic decline and support the growth.
This report should be included in the framework of reforms to extend the period of actual work and to facilitate the careers of people who have children on their shoulders. Also Deutsche Bundesbank expects Germany to delay the retirement age to sixty-seventh.
Germans are making efforts to attract more migrants, especially skilled workers such as engineers and IT experts or nurses.
