According to an idea by the members of Iran’s Parliament, Majlis is preparing a new plan to create a new province called Khalije Fars. This term means Persian Gulf in Farsi and this movement will intensify Iran’s sovereignty over three disputed Islands between Iran and Emirates.
Abu Musa Island will be the capital of this province. Iranians will turn this province to a resort area. Also the name of this Island will be changed to Bu Musa.
Vali Esmaili said on Monday that the plan would be ready before the national Persian Gulf day, which will be marked on April 29. Esmaili said the province will consist of Lesser Tunb, Greater Tunb, Kish, and Qeshm islands as well as Sirik, Lengeh and Lavan ports.
Experts considered this job as the new innovation of Iran against UAE claims over Abu Musa, Lesser Tunb and Greater Tunb.
