Iran to Fight With The Monopolization of The English language

In addition to English the Iranian Education Ministry plans to include the teaching of German, Italian, Spanish, Russian, and French languages in schools, a ministry official says.

Mahdi Navid Edham, said this decision has been made and ratified by the high council of the Education Ministry.

Edham said the purpose behind the introduction of this plan is to break the monopolization of the English language.

Currently Iranian students learn two languages in schools. Beside English, Arabic is the other foreign language.
