India and Iran has finalized a deal to trade 60,000 tons of crude sugar . This is the most important foreign purchase of Iran after being under the strict sanctions from Unites States and EU .
Base on this contract , the first cargo weights 20,000 tons has been loaded in Mumbai port and is ready for shipping . By ending the next month , India will ship the remaining . India’s officials and authorities confirmed this deal and announced there is not any obstacle for this deal and India is ready to sell more of these crude sugar to Iran .
International Sugar Organization , based in London , said in a report that Iran has imported 1.8 million tons of sugar . According to this report Iran will import 1.6 million tons in 2012 .
After China , India is the second biggest buyer of Iran’s oil in world and imports around $11 billion a year while their exports to Iran is only $2.7 billion .
