Iraqi official said on Saturday that Iraq’s oil exports amounted to 71.8 million barrels last month and achieved revenues of $8.4 billion.
“The exported quantities of crude oil for the month of March are the highest since 1989 in terms of export revenue, more than 59.4 million barrels of crude oil worth $6.9 billion exported from the southern fields.” Asim Jihad, spokesman for the Oil Ministry, announced in a press conference.
“But oil exports from the Kirkuk fields have reached 12 million barrels worth $ 1.4 billion, with an average selling price of $117 per barrel,” He added.
“The quantities were uploaded by international oil companies that carry different oil companies from 28 countries, from ports of Basra and Khor al-Amaya on the Persian Gulf and Turkish port of Ceyhan on the Mediterranean.” Asim Jihad explained.
