The Algerian attacking midfielder who currently plays for Qadsia SC in Kuwaiti Premier League received a formal $1 million offer from Iran’s Persepolis.
Lazhar Hadj Aïssa has not yet responded to this offer. Some sources say he prefers to play in Saudi League in the next season and he is negotiating with some of the Saudi based clubs. However he is seeking to join Al Hilal, Al Ahli, Al Ittihad or Al Shabab.
Lazhar born 23 March 1984 in Batna. In 2007 he awarded the Best player of the Arab Champions League. In 2006 he received the title of Best young player of the Algerian League. He played in ES Sétif from 2004-05 to 2010-11 and in this season he joined Qadsia SC. He appeared 7 times for this time and scored 2 goals.
Currently Persepolis’ offer is the highest bid he has received until now.
Hadj Aïssa is nicknamed “Baggio” because of his hair and his style of play’s similarity to Italian legend Roberto Baggio.
