Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, updated his personal weblog after a long time. In the new posts Ahmadinejad talks about Imam Ali and Imam Khomeini.
Ahmadinejad’s weblog was updated only once in the recent three years. He had posted only two entries in the second spell of his presidential. Four months ago he published a post regarding Iran’s revolution.
He started his weblog in 1385 in order to increase his presence in virtual world. But he failed to achieve that goal. His website is currently ranked 10,378 in Iran according to Alexa system. Ahmadinejad.ir is available in four languages including Persian, Arabic, French and English.
39,165,191 ballots were cast in the election on 12 June 2009, according to Iran’s election headquarters. Ahmadinejad won 24,527,516 votes, (62.63%). In second place, Mir-Hossein Mousavi, won 13,216,411 (33.75%) of the votes. The election drew unprecedented public interest in Iran.
