Iran’s First Vice President, Mohammadreza Rahimi, said Iran has good economic situation even after putting severe sanctions by United States on this country.
“The total volume of Iran’s oil exports had reached to $53 billion a year and the price of each Iran’s oil barrel is $100. United States tried to interrupt Iran’s economic but we didn’t suffer from that. Even the total revenue of Iran has dramatically increased.” Mohammadreza Rahimi said.
“Currently Iranians have good financial situtation. This shows our efforts.” He added while Iran is experiencing high inflation rate up to 30%.
Previously, Mohammadreza Rahimi was Vice President for Parliamentary affairs from 2005 to 2009. He was also Governor of Kurdistan province from 1993 to 1997. Based on the claims of at least two members of Iranian Parliament (Majlis), Rahimi was the head of a corruption band that became known as Fatemi Circle. This circle had an office in Fatemi street in Tehran. Naderan, a member of Majlis who is close to Ahmad Tavakkoli, has criticized the judicial system for not arresting him. Motahari, another member of Majlis, has asked Ahmadinejad to cooperate with judicial system on this issue and called the accusations serious.
