Base on the official reports, more than 1 million and 200 thousands of Tehran’s residents casted their ballot yesterday for the parliamentary election run-off.
Safar Ali Baratloo, the coordinator of the polling stations, said: “More than 1 million and 200 thousands of Tehranis voted in the second round of the parliamentary election. While this number was only 700 thousands in the previous parliamentary election run-off held four years ago which was 70% lower than this current number.”
He also revealed that 54% of Tehranis voted in this election.
