Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Monday that all the options are on the table to prevent Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons, stressing his country’s right to defend itself .
After meeting with U.S. President Barack Obama in the White House, Netanyahu announced this in a speech before the American Israel Public Affairs “AIPAC” on Monday (local time), Obama reiterated his commitment to preventing Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons, pointing out that Israel adopts the same policy pursued by Washington in this regard .
Netanyahu added that the containment policy in dealing with Iran’s nuclear program is unacceptable, stressing the need to stop Iran as soon as possible . He pointed out that Iran calls for Israel’s destruction, and works relentlessly to achieve this goal . He stressed that Israel is determined to prevent Iran from acquiring a nuclear weapon by saying “I would never bet on the security of Israel.”
