Toshiba will be adding three new tablets to their Excite lineup of devices this year. The differently priced tablets are known as the Excite Pure, Excite Pro, and Excite Write. The most unique of the trio is the Excite Pure. It’s not a powerhouse of a tablet as it only sports a Tegra 3 processor, 1GB of RAM, a 10.1 inch 1280×800 display, and Android 4.2, but you’ll only end up paying $299 for it. That’s extremely wallet friendly.

Popping up with a 2560×1600 10.1 display and a Tegra 4 processor, the Excite Pro and Excite Write are pretty much the same tablet. The Excite Write is similar to the Galaxy Note with a Wacom digitizer in the display. It also comes with a stylus that will only work with the Excite Write. As far as pricing goes, the Excite Pro and the Excite Write are much heavier than the Excite Pure being $499 and $599 respectively. The trio will hit stores this month.
