Gennady Gatilov , Deputy Russian Foreign Minister , announced on Friday that his country opposed the new draft resolution put forward by Washington in the UN Security Council over Syria crisis because it is “unbalanced” . The draft doesn’t include an appeal to the parties of the conflict (like the government and opposition groups) to stop the violence, “We can not approve the draft resolution as put forward today by the text of the resolution under discussion is balanced.” Gennady Gatilov said .
“The main problem which lies is the lack of demand at the same time all parties to take practical steps to stop the fire,” Gennady explained . Russian official said Moscow had received reports that the UN Security Council plans to put the draft resolution to vote on Monday .
Russia and China are two countries which are always supporting Bashar Al-Assad regime despite many criticism on them .
