Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+ Larger Space Models Release Next Week

May 18th will be the release date of the 128GB and 256GB versions of the Samsung Galaxy S9 (and S9 Plus) in the U.S. These are particularly heavy storage phones and will only be available via the Samsung site. They’re open to preorders right now until May 17th so you have six days to jump on it and the deals that come with it.

So what colors do you have to choose from? There’s black (obviously), blue, and purple. It’s not the biggest selection but I don’t believe anyone really expected a Crayola box of options. Not only do you get 128GB or 256GB in space, but these versions of Samsung Galaxy S9 are also open to additional microSD storage. If you’re looking at the 128GB Galaxy S9, expect to pay $770 for it. The Galaxy S9 Plus will run you $890. The 256GB S9 is $840 and the Plus version is $960. You will be able to shave off a hot $20 on the 256GB versions during preorder.

To sweeten the pot, Samsung is offering a Gear IconX for free or a Gear S3 Frontier for $100—down $180. Both versions of the Gear were already released internationally, so here’s your chance to get them with your 256GB Galaxy S9 for free or at a significant discount.
