Military sources announced that a suicide car bomb targeted a camp of the Republican Guard on Saturday in Yemen after a week on a similar attack claimed by Al Qaeda killing 26 soldiers .
The sources said the attack targeted the barracks of the Republican Guard in the Al Baiza city, which located 170 km south-west of Sana’a, indicating the occurrence of “losses” without adding any detail . Witnesses said the attack destroyed the building, which consists of four floors .
There was an exchange of fire between the attackers after the gunmen and members of the Republican Guard, led by the son of former Yemeni President Ali Abdullah Saleh and white close of Abyan province, a stronghold of Al Qaeda in southern Yemen .
