Foreign Ministry spokesman Ramin Mehmanparast believes some of the Western countries are trying to hinder talks between Iran and 5+1 group in Baghdad by making the country insecure.
Negotiators from Iran and the 5+1 group (five permanent members of the UN Security Council and Germany) plan to meet for nuclear talks in Baghdad on May 23.
“It is clear that which countries want the talks between Iran and the 5+1 group reach a conclusion and which countries consider the success of talks in contrast to their interests,” Mehmanparast told a news briefing. “It is also clear that which countries make efforts to establish security in the region and which countries have a role in making regional countries insecure.”
