Update: Four people were shot at the YouTube offices. The shooter, Nasim Aghdam, is deceased due to self-inflicted wounds.
Earlier today, roughly 50 calls hit emergency lines about shots fired at YouTube’s headquarters in San Bruno, California. San Francisco General Hospital reported that it received several people with gunshot wounds.
San Bruno PD officials took to Twitter to warn locals to steer clear of YouTube’s offices due to an active shooter. The tweet read: “We are responding to an active shooter. Please stay away from Cherry Ave & Bay Hill Drive.” Several people working on YouTube grounds–such as Vadim Lavrusik (@Lavrusik) provided updates on the shooting as it happened.
